Saturday Nov. 29th marked our annual FROSTY DAY highlighted by the Frosty Parade, appropriately named after “Frosty the Snowman,” whose lyrics were written by former Armonk Resident Steve Nelson in 1950. Thousands of children and adults came out to celebrate the day with activities including face painting, a magician, clowns, dessert making, balloon decorating, colored hair extensions, hot dogs and cider, donuts, cookies, a scavenger hunt, train rides, singers, dancers and much more! The afternoon culminated with the parade through town led by none other than the giant Frosty the Snowman –  the procession included a marching band,  fire engines, vintage cars, clowns, and vehicles decorated by many of our local businesses, and ended with the festive holiday tree lighting at Wampus Brook Park.
